Plymouth man accused of possessing 6,500 child porn images

6th May 2011

I read this story recently in the Plymouth Evening Herald.

Oh dear, there’s another nail in the coffin in trying to stop this filth from being downloaded.

Some say child porn images on the internet is not actually child abuse. This staggers me.

The ignorance of this kind of naive comment.

How do these people think these images were made?

When a crime like this is reported it’s hard to imagine why any man or woman would want to degrade and hurt children in this way. I’ve suffered child abuse and I know first-hand that no one hears the child’s cry – OR listens to them begging to be left alone. No one speaks for these hidden children! Child abuse OF ANY FORM is a community issue for heaven’s sake!!

Children are not abused in silence even though they may be behind closed doors and pulled-too curtains!

They beg – cry – plead – scream – then they realize no one will be coming to protect them and make it all STOP.

This is the most pitiful place for a child to be in. I can tell you, this is hell.

Mark Evans, of Buckland Close, Plympton, indicated “no plea” to all of the allegations, which apparently date back from December 2006 to May 2010.

He also answers for six other accounts of making or downloading images. If these people believe what they do is right, why plead not guilty? Or go “no comment”?

Of course they know it’s wrong morally and ethically – it is a violation of the worst kind.

Hopefully the authorities can seek out the source and arrest and charge the animals who call themselves human beings who make these images. I can’t pick up a newspaper of late without reading about another person being arrested/charged with serious offenses against children. The police have a hard job to catch these people. Evans was released on unconditional bail to appear before magistrates again on June 21st.

Unlike his victims, he can carry on with his vile life.
